ska surgery / ska surgerie:/.n. a website and club night dedicated to all areas of ska, ska music, 2-Tone, Trojan and ska punk. Who to see and where to see them.
- ORIGIN 2003: of our own crazed thought.

Well people, see if you can get along to these two spanking events.

On June 21st its the infamous Jet's Birthday Bash at Sawyers in Kettering. Featuring at the old boys party (39 REALLY ;-) are Smoke Like a Fish, Cracked Actors, Dirty Revolution and The Pressure Tones. There is loads of free parking to be had and there will be a BBQ. It is £7 in advance, so have a look at Jets Carry On Ska for more info.

Secondly, Neville Staple, Skaville UK (and Rhoda Dakar), The Big and many others will be playing The Barney Big Bash at Barnard Castle in Co.Durham on August 23rd. Go to tickets@barneybigbash.co.uk for tickets surprise surprise. Think its £10 a pop.

Lastly, if you go to the Catch-It-Kebabs website before June 27th you can get their new single absolutely gratis. All you need to do is fill in a 30 second ska census and hey presto. Go to www.catchitkebabs.co.uk

Check out events in the GIG GUIDE and we hope to see a lot of you soon (The Reggae for the People gig at London ULU probably). As usual if you know about a ska related event that you think should be mentioned, send it to the usual email address (in CONTACT) or add it to the FORUM.

Hopefully, The Ska Surgery club night will find a new venue soon, so keep an eye of the website. You will also find that we have reduced the price of our Ska Surgery shirts, so take a look at these bargin prices while stocks last at the SHOP

Finally, as the Nutty Boys would say ' We're as honest as the day is long - the longer the daylight the less we do wrong '
